Well actually yes you do because Piper is the daughter of Aphrodite and her voice comes powered with ~charmspeak~

It's basically a super compulsion she can't really turn off, her voice is just so compelling, you may find yourself following her orders without even realising it

People have fought it off in canon, it's weaker to people who aren't attracted to her and against someone who knows they are being charmspoken, but people often find themselves struggling not to follow her requests even when she's not trying. Piper is a nice girl who doesn't want to manipulate people, but she also will compel the hell out of people if she needs something from them. So if you want your character to be compelled, awesome! But if you're not up for manipulation/borderline mind control let me know here and I will work around it.
